I-PHONE 4!!!

Share it!

SHOPPING.... with Jane Austen

Among IPad, television, computers and any other techological devices we're forgetting activities that until a few time ago were considered very important, such as reading. A little demonstration of this idea? Try to answer to this question honestly: which is the last book you red from the first one, until the last page? The answers can be different, but the point is that nowadays this activity is no longer considered essential, even if there are books for everyone; so it's just a matter of will: you have to take some time on your own, not because you're obliged, but because you really desire it. Maybe than you'll be happy because you've learned something.
A book I would recommend to all lovers of romantic stories  or simply those who want to start reading something, it's "Shopping with Jane Austen" written by Laurie Viera Rigler and published in 2010;the plot is simple and very addictive, somehow, just to combine the useful and the pleasant, can also be used to understand, from the perspective of a woman of twenty-first century, the era of Jane Austen was not all just tea, cakes, clothing sumptuous and carers everywhere, because every age has its advantages, but also its shortcomings!!

BENEDETTA BRUZZICHES

Close your eyes and think of a bag...you are so dull! You will never have anyone's attention with that bag! You would have never managed to reach Benedetta Bruzziches' imagination. In fact the young outcoming designer after graduating at IED in Rome  and after becoming Romeo Gigli's personal assistant, won the award "Best Italian Talent" and founded her own brand BB. She decides then to specialize in bags and in 2009 she wins in Hong Kong the award "Best Bag Collection". She quickly gets a big hit from international buyers entering the market of India, Japan and South America. But what really fascinates of her collections, is the synthesis of beauty and comfort. Her bags are studied in every detail and can be assembled and disassembled to occupy as little space as possible! Goodbye then to the jumps on the cases before taking an EasyJet's flight!! And hurray to imagination and diversity, simbols of the evolution in the world of accessories!

DAVID LaCHAPELLE

After attending North Carolina School of the Arts, LaChapelle moved to New York. Where in a very short time, he immediatly caught the eye of his hero Andy Warhol. After working for some magasines, he was able to work on his own and fully express his passion without any restrictions. Photography has always been for him a way to understand the world  and to ironically make fun of life. His pictures, because of the strong and bright colors, seem to belong to another world where everything is allowed. Appreciated not only by critics but even by stars for his thinking outside the box!
