Dopo aver scartato tutti i regali di Natale mi son ritrovata a chiedermi: quand'è che ho smesso di scrivere la letterina a Babbo Natale?! Infatti se l'avessi fatta anche quest'anno mi sarei risparmiata un grande imbarazzo!! Non si sa mai che faccia fare quando si apre un regalo e ci si ritrova davanti una cosa o che si ha già o che non piace! Ammetterlo è difficile per ragioni di educazione ma non bisogna scoraggiarsi e armati di coraggio, forbici e set da cucito ci si può sbizzarrire per reinventare ciò che ci si trova davanti! Se l'impresa risulta impossibile non dobbiamo sentirci sconfitti, esistono infatti gli Swap Club in cui ci si può ritrovare per scambiarsi i regali. E se dove abitate voi non esistono, organizzatene uno voi!
Non dimenticatevi la serie "Twiggy's Frock Exchange" in cui l'icona di stile Twiggy e Lauren Laverne facevano vedere come reinventare vecchi abiti e come organizzare Swapping parties!
After having unwrapped all my Christmas presents I wondered: when did I stop writing my letter to Santa Claus?! Infact if I had written it I would have spared myself a great embarrassment!! You never know how to react when you open a present and find something that you already have or you do not like! To admit it is difficult for politeness' reasons but do not discourage and arm yourself with courage, scissors and a sewing kit and reinvent what you find in front of you! If it is impossible do not worry you can in fact participate to a Swap Club where you can exchange your presents. And if where you live Swap Club do not exist, do not worry but organise one!
Do not forget the series "Twiggy's Frock Exchange" where the style icon Twiggy and Lauren Laverne showed how to re-style old clothes and how to organise Swapping parties!
